Joshua Skule, Founder/President
Joshua Skule is a veteran expert in National Security. He is the Founder and President of Bow Wave LLC. Joshua has appeared on CNN, CNBC, and other professional industry panels as a National Security expert.
Joshua began Bow Wave LLC after a distinguished 21-year career in the FBI. Joshua retired as the Executive Assistant Director for Intelligence leading the organization’s Intelligence Branch. In this role, he served as the strategic leader of the FBI’s intelligence program with centralized authority, responsibility, and oversight for all the bureau’s intelligence work. In addition, he managed a global workforce of 5,000 personnel and a National Intelligence Program budget of over $3 billion.
As the Deputy Assistant Director within the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, Joshua developed a long-term strategic roadmap for technology investment in the bureau’s highest priority program. He nurtured extensive outreach to international law enforcement and intelligence partners to enhance information sharing.
After retiring from the FBI, Joshua joined the private sector as the Senior Vice President of the Risk Advisory and Consulting Services division at Allied Universal®. Joshua was responsible for enhancing this division as a leading national and global provider of differentiating consulting, investigations, and protective services. Joshua has also provided strategic transformative services for a Fortune 500 company.
Joshua graduated from the Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He was a U.S. Marine Captain and led teams in challenging deployments around the world.
In 2017, Joshua was the recipient of the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service.
Dan Dzenitis, Founder/COO
Dan Dzenitis is a seasoned commercial executive business leader in the technology market. He is the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Bow Wave LLC. Dan leads all financial and operations efforts to include company capitalization, strategy, and positioning.
Culminating from a career in the National Security and innovation space, Dan provides his knowledge, experience, concern, and inspiration for public-private benefit and cooperation. As an executive for commercial innovation, Dan sees where commercial technology is allowing parts of the world to enter the global economy in ways never imagined. His knowledge base extends across communications, cyber security, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing.
Dan led technology P&L programs both in and outside of the US Government which include program leadership for National and Homeland Security-oriented network engineering and network security, data analytics, cyber security and targeting. Dan’s leadership translated success across product development, partnerships and alliances, and interface with senior US Government leaders, as well as commercial financial services leadership.
Dan began his professional career as a Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) officer which included various combat deployments throughout two decades – operating in culturally diverse environments while working with scarce resources. These experiences honed skills which later applied to leadership positions in Global Investment Banking, Aerospace & Defense Corporate Development, and entrepreneurship.
Dan graduated from the US Naval Academy with a dual Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree and further with an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School.
